The works of Iakovos Kambanellis are protected under copyright law. Any presentation, staging, adaptation, cinematic or television use, as well as the use of lyrics or musical compositions, requires prior authorization.
Expression of Interest
The initial contact has to be made with Katerina Kambanelli, the author’s daughter and the legal rights holder/administrator of his works’ intellectual property.
The interested party (theatre, producer, organization, educational institution, or individual) submits a request exclusively by email, which must include the following:
● the work they wish to use
● the intended form of use (theatrical staging, film or television production, musical use, public performance, recording, reading, adaptation, etc.)
● the venue of presentation or use
● the dates or duration
● the producing or organizing entity
● the contact details of the person responsible
● a brief profile/presentation of the interested party (e.g. theatre company, production company, previous activities)

Following the granting of approval by Katerina Kambanelli, the interested party proceeds to contact the appropriate rights management body, depending on the type of use.
